Solarlux "Wintergarden" used to create our Showroom Entrance
A great demonstration of how the Wintergarden system can be used for double-height glass frontage and a reverse-pitch roof
When we were planning our showroom extension, we wanted something impressive that would show what we can do, and what can be achieved with the products we sell. The Solarlux Wintergarden system can be used for all kinds of applications from a small glass roof to a large orangery-style restaurant, so it seemed perfect for our entrance. The frontage includes a row of fixed panels with a row of SL60 bifolding doors below it. Structurally, there is an internal steel beam above the doors which we have clad with matching aluminium. The roof is reverse pitch which means it slopes upwards rather than downwards. There is a drainage gutter at the rear of the roof.
The finish is DB703, an attractive dark grey with metallic effect.
