Some before and after photos showing how we have replaced the old dark and chilly conservatory with a modern, light-filled Solarlux glass extension with triple-glazing and exceptional insulation. With a powered shading on the roof and two sides still to be installed, this room will be used all year round — lovely and warm in the winter but shaded from the heat in the summer. External shading is more effective than internal as it blocks the heat before it enters the glass.
The raked corner was a requirement and challenging, but we were able to find a good solution which will work with the shading covers and the installation by our team was first class as always. We also supplied and fitted to the main house some Solarlux Highline bifolding doors, window and side door.
