Solarlux Acubis Glass Canopy
A contemporary glass canopy on an extension to a luxury home in Cheshire
The Acubis is a contemporary cubic-style glass canopy with an almost flat roof (2°) that provides shelter for your family and garden furniture alike. It can be just an open canopy like this one, or can be enclosed with vertical glass sliding panels (see Glass Rooms and Canopies). The clients were already customers, having ordered big Cero sliding doors for the extension plus Internorm windows throughout the house, when they saw the Acubis in our showroom. They loved the appearance of it and felt it would be perfect to add to the extension, also linking the extension to the bifold doors in the main house. They have been extremely pleased with it and it also has the benefit of keeping the sliding doors dry on rainy days, improving the view in all weathers.
