St Michael's Hospice, Hereford

A major refurbishment incorporating Internorm windows and doors to Passivhaus standard.

We worked with developers Speller Metcalf and architects Architype, who specialise in Passivhaus buildings, on this major refurbishment of a large block. St. Michael's Hospice in Hereford is a charitable organisation that offers palliative care in an inpatients and outpatients capacity to the local community, county and beyond.

The architects specified the Internorm HF310 Studio range to achieve the required levels of thermal efficiency, with clear-lacquered spruce timber on the inside and aluminium on the outside, finished in RAL7039 (Quartz Grey). The doors were finished in RAL7004 (Signal Grey) to achieve increased visibility for the entrance ways.
