Kastrup Timber/Aluminium Windows in a Traditional Home
Plus Solarlux Glass Porch (with bifold doors) and Internorm Sliding Doors
The client was looking to replace his old metal-framed windows with something high performance to create a warmer, more comfortable environment. He also wanted windows that would look and feel special. He had a look at our Kastrup windows and loved them. The exterior is coated aluminium for low maintenance and long life, while the interior is wood. The client opted for white spray-painted timber in most rooms but very attractive solid oak in the lounge and sitting rooms.
He also had a porch built using the Solarlux Glass Extension system. This has a side door as the normal entrance but also a front-facing bifold door for getting large loads such as furniture through to the house when needed.
The client added some aluminium-clad Internorm sliding doors at the rear, with solid oak on the inside.
