We also designed & supplied supplied custom-made aluminium cladding to match the windows, including windows surrounds and blind covers.
The windows are Internorm HF310 and achieve excepetional U-Values of less than 0.8, suitable for Passivhaus. The building is south facing and the use of external weather-resistant venetian-style shading reduces heat gain in the summer without shutting out the light.
The blinds are electric powered and the cases are well-intergarted into the design of the house.
We also supplied and installed aluminium surrounds to the windows as well as cladding around the tall bays. The aluminium was finished in RAL 7021 to colour-match the windows.
