Studio-style Internorm Windows & Solarlux Bifold Doors in a traditional stone cottage in Derbyshire [20181434]

The owners of this traditional stone house chose very modern Internorm windows — and it works perfectly!

This is a great example of how modern window styles can add an extra dimension to a period home without losing its character.

The products used are Internorm HF310 timber-aluminium windows, some with integrated blinds, and complementary Solarlux Combiline timber-aluminium bifolding doors. It's often thought that you need "old-fashioned" windows in such houses but this is one of several projects that show the opposite.

The colour is Duraxel Classic 32, described by the German manufacturers as "Grey Beige", which frankly doesn't do it justice! We like it a lot.
