Country home with replacement windows and contemporary-style extension

The clients were extending their traditional rural home and wanted an airy, contemporary feel to the extension. They wanted premium-quality windows with a modern style and chose Solarlux which are custom-built to order in Germany. Solarlux built the roof lantern to a very high standard and they ordered Solarlux SL60 bifolding doors and windows in the extension to match.
They also replaced all the windows in the existing house with Kastrup windows from Denmark. The Kastrup HL110 windows were modern, high performance windows but still blended well with the traditional decor, especially with the white timber on the inside.
