ACHABEAG — SUSTAINABLE HOMES IN A SPECTACULAR LOCATION IN THE HIGHLANDS OF SCOTLANDS

Kastrup low-energy timber/aluminium windows, made in Denmark, supplied by Spectrum Architectural Glazing.

This is a project we are proud to be part of, a extraordinary development of 20 bespoke sustainable houses designed for locals and newcomers.

The development is in a spectacular place — set a hundred feet above the Sound of Mull, it has exceptional views, west across the Sound to the Isle of Mull, and south-east to the Firth of Lorne, from the sea-cliffs of Ardtornish, past Ardtornish Castle, to the Stevenson lighthouse off the Isle of Lismore to Duart Castle on the coast of Mull.

The houses were designed by leading UK sustainable building experts from Roderick James Architects, who have a base nearby.
