A reminder that our Solarlux bifolding doors can have full glazing bars to create a genuine traditional style. These are not your regular internal stick-on plastic bars that the average windows have, these are on the outside of the glass and have the appearance of traditional timber bars, with an aluminium bar on the outdoor side, a timber bar on the indoor side, spacers between the glass panels and visible gaskets between each element to give the appearance that each 'square' is separately glazed. The doors pictured are Combiline, which have aluminium on the outside and timber on the inside (including the glazing bars) and are triple-glazed.
This is typical of Spectrum — nothing we do is ordinary!

Some beautifully atmospheric winter photos of a Solarlux Glass Extension installed last year, taken by a very satisfied customer 💪😎. Plus a few of their Internorm windows & striking front door.
The glass extension is fully insulated with underfloor heating and is used as part of their day-to-day living space all year round with openings to the kitchen and to the lounge. It has triple-glazing all round which will keep in the heat during winter but also help prevent over-heating in summer.

We've had young Lex in today vacuuming and cleaning the showroom ready for our first appointments next week. We have a huge range of Internorm and Kastrup windows & doors, plus Solarlux glass extensions, bifolding doors, sliding doors etc. These are high-end products which really need to be seen!

It's been another great year despite the economic pressures — and one in which we won the Installation of the Year award😎😎 We had a stand at the National Homebuilding show, we ran some CPD training for architects, we went to the Solarlux HQ in Germany, we had some social events ..... and of course met some brilliant people and did some amazing projects for them 😊😊 Have a great night and see you in 2025 x

This is such an exciting project. A big insulated Solarlux glass extension to the living area as part of a major renovation of this beautiful old country house. We've got the frame and glass roof up, sides and bifolding doors still to come — all triple-glazed for maximum performance. It's been a pleasure collaborating with Chase Enterprise and Base: Architects & Planning who do some brilliant work.
