A wonderful view.... but also a great demonstration of the science😲! We dropped by yesterday and were gratified to find how cool the room was in the current heatwave. The Internorm triple-glazing combines lower solar gain with outstanding insulation to keep the heat OUT in the summer! Whereas in winter, there is enough solar gain to gently warm the room and the insulation keeps it IN. That's free heating! Add in the acoustic effect and it's quiet and warm in even the most extreme winter storms (see image 5). We installed these 8 years ago and the owners are still over the moon. They're about to order more Internorm windows from us 😎

A very smart self-build home designed with an emphasis on performance and quality of materials.
