This amazing transformation of a typical suburban semi shows what can be done with imagination and some great products. The glass extension, a Solarlux Akzent Plus "Wintergarden", is triple-glazed to keep the heat in and includes some shading options. There is a powered internal awning, perfect for hot weather, plus fitted blinds on the bifold doors which can move from both top and bottom.
The clients have been loving it. They have talked about how the extra light and the views add an extra dimension to the time they spend at home, how they notice birds and clouds more than they ever did, and how much the extra light in the depths of winter makes them feel more alive.
