We are now almost operating normally and continuing to provide the best service we can!

We have taken a number of steps to comply with government guidelines and to safeguard our staff and customers.

Consultancy/Advice, Sales and Administration

We are back to normal  — although some of us are working safely from home. We are still preparing quotations, taking consultations, providing our usual expert advice and experience, and of course taking orders!

If you call our office, there will be someone there to answer.

Showroom

We have now reopened our showroom by appointment only. We have measures in place to protect visitors and staff and will be following government and industry guidlelines.

Please note: if you or anyone in your household have any symptoms or are high risk, we would ask you to please not visit the showroom until it is safe to do so.

Suppliers

Our suppliers in Germany, Austria and Denmark continued manufacturing at nearly full capacity throughout the crisis and we continued to take deliveries (we have plenty of secure, safe storage until we are ready to install). This has meant there is no supply backlog.

Virtual Consultations & Virtual Showroom Visits

Should you prefer, we can arrange video consultations via Zoom, Facetime and other popular Video Chat apps.

If you wish, we can connect you by video to someone in the showroom (by appointment) so you can see what we do as well as possible without travelling.

Installations

We initially resumed installations to uninhabited building sites or extensions where the construction work is separated from the living area. All our installers are following the safe operating procedures issued by the Construction Leadership Council.

As of the middle of June, we have resumed installations to occupied homes where it is safe to do so. We are following procedures issued by Certass, the trade association of which we are members and their guide, “Working Safely in Your Home”, is available below.

Please note: we will not enter any home where there is a shielding or high-risk person or where any member of the household is showing symptoms.

Our decisions have been made in consultation with our staff and nobody has been required to work on any site. We have made efforts to ensure that they understand and follow all issued guidelines. They are all experienced workers and we trust them to make the right decisions.
