Using the Solarlux Glass Extension system to convert the rear garage into a light-filled living room extension

The clients were renovating their home and wanted to increase the living space by converting the rear of the garage. Rather than going down the traditional tiled route, they saw how a glass extension could enhance the space after seeing the glass extensions page on our website. They were concerned about heatloss in winter but their fears were allayed after visting our showroom and doing further research. They were also concerned about over-heating in summer and opted for the external powered awning. The awning prvides shade and unlike internal blinds, it prevents the rays of the sun from hitting the glass at all. They also added a couple of side windows for ventilation. They have been delighted with their new living space!
