Wintergarden 'Avantgarde' by Solarlux

This is a delightful project which showcases the impact of a glass roof on an extension. The roof is from the Solarlux Avantgarde Wintergarden line and has solid oak beams and transoms in the roof, plus weather-resistant powder-coated aluminium on the outside. This roof has an electric exterior roller canopy which can provide shade in sunny weather, preventing solar heat from passing through the glass. This combines with the automatic sliding vent window and bifolding doors to help keep the extension cool and ventilated in the sunshine.

The  bifold doors are Solarlux's new Highline slim doors and open out on to the garden and some beautiful views over the valley below. All Solarlux product are custom-built to order in Germany. We also installed Internorm Homepure windows with integral blinds in the rest of the house.
