The Coach House, Shropshire.

The clients were looking for a sun room to match their period barn conversion. The solution we suggested was the Solarlux Avantgarde system (part of the Wintergarden range) utilising aluminium exterior trim on the roof for easy maintenance and weather protection, combined with solid oak beams on the inside to match the period beams in the main house. The addition of SL66 bifold doors in oak finished the project perfectly.

The clients chose to have the optional remote-control external awning to provide shade in hot weather. An external awning is far more effective than blinds as it blocks the heat and UV before it passes through the glazing.

Using our spider crane to lift the roof into place

The spider crane, with its folding legs and tank-style tracks, can squeeze through narrow access points such as garden gates.
